I'm feeling restless...
This summer hasn’t been quite what I expected. It doesn’t feel like the way summer used to feel — where there was nothing to worry about except what to do till sundown and tomorrow was a distant thought.
Maybe it’s because I’ve already been out of school for exactly two months today, but I’m just really ready for school to start. I need to be back in the swing...

History Discussion was Cancelled
My day ended at 10:00 am. How awesome is that?
Now, onto being productive and getting ahead with work. Oh, and doing laundry.
It really makes me sad that with the whole day ahead of me, I get excited about getting my laundry done and getting ahead with my homework.
Being a grown up sucks.
That's right, I wrote the headlining News Story →
After sitting in a council meeting for 5 straight hours, writing the story for an hour and a half with Lara, and then waiting for the damn bus for 45 minutes, it feels good to know that I wrote the headlining news story. :)
I'm so excited! →
I’m going to be a famous journalist on the Michigan Daily.
My first article published in college. :)
My Roommate has Swine Flu
I’ve disinfected the whole room, I’m waiting for my sheets to dry, and now onto the load of work that I was supposed to do when I was supposed to come home.

Couples Activities
Dad: Sweetheart, let's do couples volleyball.
Paolo: Ma loves to eat; you should do couples eating.
Mom: Now that's my sport!
Jack and Robby
I just met Robby’s roommate. They have so MUCH in common. Their wardrobe even looks the same. (Robby made me guess which one was his closet and I had trouble trying to decide).
Overall, Jack’s a good guy. I’m glad Robby has such a good roommate. :)
P.S. Robby’s room looks cool.
Oh, T-Rex... →
I love Dinosaur Comics and T-Rex. :D

Everyone's leaving...
And I’m not ready. :(
An Update
I hung out with Jeis, Melissa, Calvin, Christine, and Blaine one last time at Jeisler’s house. On the way, Blaine and I picked up some McDonalds (as is customary when going to Jeisler’s house), and when we pulled up to the driveway, I found it rather disconcerting that the garage actually had cars in it and not the carpet with our tinikling sticks on top. We weren’t here for...
Steven
Good luck at U of I! It’s scary, but it’s something new and definitely something exciting!
Take care of yourself, and keep me posted on the happenings in your life. :)
It's time to start saying Goodbye

He Loves Me
Blaine: Hey, beautiful.
Fides: Aw... hi!
Blaine: ...I was talking to my new monitor that I ordered.
Reality Check
Today’s picnic was super fun.
I got up early and picked up Melissa so we could grocery shop. Melissa said it was our “training to be wives.” We bought the necessary ingredients (and some not-so-necessary ones…) and went back to her house to make Filipino Spaghetti.
At Independence Grove, we just hung around, played some games, ate - you know, picnic activities.
While sitting on the dock, it...

Dinner at the Brounts'
My family had dinner with Blaine’s family tonight. I thought it was going to be the most awkward night of my life. I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be a pretty fun night. We watched South Park as the adults made dinner, and after dinner, we played Wii Fit.
All in all, successful dinner party. :)
